We’re going to see if our theory of heavily favored speed bias at Aqueduct holds true or not. The key horses today are the ones with the best late pace characteristics (and breeding). The one exception is Race #7 where the temptation is to single on the Honey Moue super horse but there could be two closers in front of her…

Friday – November 25, 2011

Race #11: 11-3-10-12-6 / 11-3-10-12-6 / 11-3-10-12-6-14

If you want to play this on the cheap side, exacta the 1st and 3rd leg of the bet or do a WPS on the #5 Compretta and the #1 Strikin Ike – both of these horses could bash our exotics at a price.

This is an extremely “if the odds warrant it” type of bet, so watch that tote board please!

We apologize for posting these Breeder’s Cup horse racing picks so late but we had a ton of technical difficulties with our hosting earlier and simply couldn’t get them up any sooner. Of course our technical difficulties fall upon such a big day of racing… hope that’s not a bad sign of what’s to come!

It looks like as of this posting they’re going into the 7th race. This is one tough day of gambling as almost every race has a ton of live-horses, all of which could be winners on a day like today. Have fun, enjoy the day of racing and best of luck to all of you!

Race #11: 8-13-10-2-12 / 8-13-10-2-12 / 8-13-10-2-12-9 – WPS saver bet on #6 Ice Box and #5 So You Think, this one’s a doozy. We could also make a case for an alternative #11 Headache use in this… which is truly a headache in itself!

Let us be up front by saying that we absolutely hate today’s card at Belmont Park and would caution people to hold off unless they concur with our picks compared against their own. Just a heads-up!

Race #7: 9-1-5-4 / 9-1-5-4-3 / 9-1-5-4-3-6 – WPS #8 Andrea’s Moon as a separate and/or saver bet.

Race #8: 9-10-4-7 / 9-10-4-7 / 9-10-4-7-2 / 9-10-4-7-2-5 – WPS #3 Bombaguia as a separate and/or saver bet.

Race #9: 4-3-8-10-12 and if you want a little extra insurance consider the #5 Pin

If he’s hot on the pace, he could take it… if not, forget about it and think about using the #6 The Bien’s Gift who is an infant that has shown little in his works but has great DNA and Talamo/Gallegher connections, which might tilt things in his favor. Think about it!

It looks like we have big fields for today’s card at Delaware Park. This means big risk (and hopefully) big reward. The WPS bets may very well be useable in the actual exotic bets if the odds warrant such a thing… not a good day to play cheaply!

Race #3: 1-6-5-4 / 1-6-5-4-2 / 1-6-5-4-2-12 – WPS on #9 Beach Badge as a saver bet (if you want to skip exotics and or use it around the 2nd leg as always).

Race #4: 5-1-4-7… although 5-1 is the clear bet we want to be on the safe side.

Race #5: 8-4-2-9-12 / 8-4-2-9-12-7 / 8-4-2-9-12-7- WPS on #13 El Season Gonzalez

Race #6: 3-4-5-8 and probably also adding the #1 into that equation.

Yesterday we didn’t do sooo hot at Santa Anita so today we’re looking to rebound at a track we know inside and out. And while our superstitious selves are sure we just cursed ourselves with that last sentence, we’re still going to take a chance and hope for a big day! Best of luck, horse players!

Race #2: 6-2-5-3 / 6-2-5-3-4 / 6-2-5-3-4-8 – WPS on #10 Annabel Lee and use the #9 Delicate Miss if needed.

Race 3 (Pick 5 starts here! Go for it!): 3-1-5-4

Race #5: 2-1-3-6 / 2-1-3-6-5 / 2-1-3-6-5-7 – and a saver bet could be made on #7 Unlimited

Race #6: 4-7-3-5

Race #7: 6-1-7-5-11 – and then we’re trying to decide on how to use the #3 into that mix, while also looking at saver bets on the #2 Big Magnum and #12 David’s Little Boy as well. Still a work in progress. Perhaps just an exacta box? You make the call!

We had a bunch of picks to post for Belmont Park today but we ended up sleeping in and missing a ton of races. There’s still 27 minutes to post as of this update for the ninth race, so we’re going to get this last bet on and then switch our focus to all things Santa Anita as you can see in the post below!

Race #9: 5-10-9-7 / 5-10-9-7-1 / 5-10-9-7-1-3 and a WPS (safety bet on the #4 Sea Road) who is definitely useable in this race. It’s not a cheap bet so if you want to hold off and focus on some of our more reasonable plays at Santa Anita, we also encourage that.
