Scratches have really ripped apart some of our bets and lowered value all together at Belmont for the day… Nonetheless, we’re going to swing over to Churchill for some late action.

An absolutely incredible card today at Churchill. Today is going to offer a TON of potential value and I think you’ll see the tote board light up more than a few times. Today is the kind of day to NOT play on the safe side (in other words, don’t bet cheap). You know we try our hardest to grind our bets down to four horses which is then usually played out as a $1 or $2 exacta box… BUT, today is one of those days where we could easily branch these out and go for trifecta’s only.

If any of our readers are interested in having us start laying out trifecta bets, we’ll be happy to do so, but the risk is going to jump quite a bit as the structure will look more like 123/123/12345 etc. If this is something you’d like to see us start doing, please feel free to email or message us on our Horse Racing Pick’s Twitter.

In other words we may soon be changing out structure so that ALL bets will start to follow this trifecta format 123/123/12345 where the last four horses (1234) are noted to be our exacta box. Make sense? Let us know what you think of this idea.

Please note that we are waiting to see what the weather does and whether or not these races will stay on the turf or not. We’re hoping the rain doesn’t slow down our picks too much. With that said, keep an eye on the site and our Twitter feed for any late changes.

Race #7: WPS on #9 Vin Santo – Cross your fingers on this one. We recommend using him in any exotics you may already be considering.

Race #8: Here’s a long shot bet of the day, we’ll be placing a WPS bet on #7 Indian Council at 20-1 morning line. Yes we’re aware of the long layoff, but we have faith in Mr. Wayne D Lukas. This is a fairly evenly laid out field, should be interesting.

Race #9: Hard to argue with the chalky #11 Flying Pegasus
