It looks like we have big fields for today’s card at Delaware Park. This means big risk (and hopefully) big reward. The WPS bets may very well be useable in the actual exotic bets if the odds warrant such a thing… not a good day to play cheaply!

Race #3: 1-6-5-4 / 1-6-5-4-2 / 1-6-5-4-2-12 – WPS on #9 Beach Badge as a saver bet (if you want to skip exotics and or use it around the 2nd leg as always).

Race #4: 5-1-4-7… although 5-1 is the clear bet we want to be on the safe side.

Race #5: 8-4-2-9-12 / 8-4-2-9-12-7 / 8-4-2-9-12-7- WPS on #13 El Season Gonzalez

Race #6: 3-4-5-8 and probably also adding the #1 into that equation.

Race #7: 5-10-11-7-9

Race #8: 3-2-1-7 / 3-2-1-7-5 / 3-2-1-7-5-10 and WPS on #4 Red For Certain

Yesterday we didn’t do sooo hot at Santa Anita so today we’re looking to rebound at a track we know inside and out. And while our superstitious selves are sure we just cursed ourselves with that last sentence, we’re still going to take a chance and hope for a big day! Best of luck, horse players!

Race #2: 6-2-5-3 / 6-2-5-3-4 / 6-2-5-3-4-8 – WPS on #10 Annabel Lee and use the #9 Delicate Miss if needed.

Race 3 (Pick 5 starts here! Go for it!): 3-1-5-4

Race #5: 2-1-3-6 / 2-1-3-6-5 / 2-1-3-6-5-7 – and a saver bet could be made on #7 Unlimited

If you look at our homepage you’ll notice that we haven’t done much else than post about all things Del Mar… and that’s about to change! Today we’re focusing on Delaware Park where we have a long track record (pun intended) of doing pretty well. Let’s hope we can continue on with that success (knock on wood) and pull down some impressive payouts!

Our bets are all relatively cheap today so I’m sure that will make a lot of you quite happy. Consider our selections with your own and beef them up if things warrant doing so!

We did pretty well at Delaware yesterday but the payoffs were rather short. Let’s hold off on all of these bets until closer to post time in each race to see what kind of value we’ll be receiving. Also take into consideration the track conditions if its going to rain today.

Race #3: 7-4-1-3

Race #4: 10-7-5-1 / 10-7-5-1-6 / 10-7-5-1-6-9 and we’ll probably use the #4 El Golem as well.

Race #5: 6-4-1-2-5

Race #6: 7-6-3/ 7-6-3-10-9 / 7-6-3-10-9-5 – the horse most likely to upset appears to be the #2 Banker’s Solo

Race #7: Obvious choice is the #2 Western Tease but who knows how the ten month break will effect him… might as use all five.

Race #8: 6-4-2-1 and probably the #3 as well.

We took the day off yesterday to enjoy this Summer heat at an all-day concert but we’re back and ready to jump all over Delaware Park as we usually do! Our first of the month picks were great but payouts were minimal. Let’s only perform these picks if we’re getting decent odds.

July was a pretty good month for horse racing picks from Puqs. Yesterday we finished the month at DelMar where we took down some nice payouts! In Race #4 we hit the trifecta for $159.50 and in Race #6 we had a $32.60 winner which made our trifecta a sweet $735.70 – we also took Race #8 for chump change and Race #9 for just $95.30. All in all a nice way to say goodbye to July.

We ended up doing fairly well at Delaware Park yesterday. We just missed a $1500 trifecta in the 4th race on yesterday’s card, however we redeemed ourselves in the very next race by grabbing a $850+ trifecta in the 5th. It pays to play big! Race #6: 4-5-7-8 / 4-5-7-8 / 4-5-7-8-2 – Depending on what kind of odds we’ll get, we may bump the #2 into the second leg as a safety play.

Race #7: 8-4-6-5 / 8-4-6-5-7 / 8-4-6-5-7 – and the horse most likely to upset is the #2 Are You Jokin Me

Race #8: 2-9-13-12 / 2-9-13-12-5 / 2-9-13-12-5-11 and the horse most likely to upset is the #4 Mala Mala Cat

Just as a reminder, when we list “the horse most likely to upset” a WPS bet is suggested as a sort of “saver” or if you have the pockets and are willing to spend a little extra, this horse can be considered the winner of the second most likely scenario.

Quick update as we are midway through Delaware today; the odds today are booming! We just missed a $1500 trifecta in the 4th race- had we boxed our last leg we would have taken everything; but hindsight is always 20/20.
