We have not made any picks for Parx Racing Course (Philadelphia Park) in quite some time so we took a quick, but valuable look at the card today. It’s honestly a pretty even field and the chalk shouldn’t have any problem overcoming today’s opponents. We went through and tried to pick winners, minus race #10 where we think the experienced horses will be the top finishers. Examine ours and work in conjunction with your own and today should be a success! Best of luck.

Race #8 WPS on #4 Mr. Commissioner

Race #9: WPS on #4 Brilliant Sunshine – gotta figure this horse will break slow but hopefully capture the pack when it comes down to the wire.

Looks like a fairly chalky day at Parx, we’re not too eager to get any of these bets on, but nonetheless, here are our picks!

Race #1: WPS on #6 Tiger Grr – plenty to worry about in this race so we’ll stay out of the exotics.

Race #2: Our picks: 3-4-1

Race #6: WPS on the 1/1A Big Push & Slick Idea – no idea if there will be any value but we’ll have our fingers crossed.

Derby day is over and needless to say we missed our bet in the big race, but still had a great time viewing all of the action from home. For those that don’t know, all of our bets are made online and not at an onsite track location or OTB… although we do have those around us, we prefer the comfort of home! Congrats to Animal Kingdom and anyone that had him. He wasn’t an easy one to pick with all of the uncertainty over the non-dirt performances… but enough of that! Today is a new day, so let’s take a stab at Parx.

Race #6: WPS: #7 Don’t Panic – Running consistent 50 Beyer’s the past two times out, seems to be able to go this distance and rarely finishes out of the money as of late. At 6-1, this is looking mighty attractive.

Race #7: Very even field here. Hoping to see if we can catch some value. Going to take a WPS on the #2 I’m Sure with a morning line of 8-1. Quite a class jump from what this horse is use to racing with, but the figures are there. Going to try a $1 exacta ($9 bet): 2-4-7 / 2-4-7-3

Race #8: $1 exacta ($9 bet): 3-4-6 / 3-4-6-9 – We’ll probably throw down some money on a WPS for #3 Zooming White Star
